“What a wonderful stay we had at The Laindons. Karen was the perfect host! The quality of the fixtures and fittings were particularly impressive and you can see the love and care that’s gone into choosing everything. The breakfast room is light and airy and the food and choices available were so good! We stayed in the Eaves room for one night and the only thing we would say is that the ceilings are quite low for a tall person. The location is perfect in the old town and very near the beach and country park. A very memorable stay. Thank you so much Karen!”

About the Eaves room

Room Rates: Mon-Thur £185 Double, £175 Single – Fri-Sun £200 Double, £195 Single

Tucked beneath the Eaves at the top of the Laindons guesthouse, this cosy and characterful room offers a peaceful retreat with lovely views across the rooftops of Hastings Old Town. Sloping ceilings and skylight windows create an intimate, restful atmosphere, while the charming ensuite bathroom invites you to unwind with a luxurious claw foot bath. Quirky and Quaint.

Please note that the room is reached via the house’s original narrow staircase and has low ceilings in places. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns or for those who prefer full standing height throughout.
